Practical AI workshops

AI is more than talk. Put it to use in your own work.

An AI workshop is a guided, hands-on workshop where you build and test one workflow, instruction or resource that fits your work. I also offer introductory workshops for organisations and Q&A sessions for individuals.

Start with your own work.

Do you need an AI workflow for your work, a shared start for your organisation, or answers to your own questions? Every format moves from talk to a concrete next step.

The AI workshop method

The AI workshop continues in real work.

  1. Choose a suitable task

Bring one recurring, non-sensitive task you want to make easier or better.

  2. Build one solution

Define the goal, build a workflow or resource and test the quality of the output.

  3. Try it in practice

Use the solution in a real work situation and note what works and what needs improvement.

  4. Return to the follow-up session

About a month later, compare experiences, improve the solutions and decide on further use.

What can you expect?

What is the difference between an AI workshop and a standard AI training course?

An AI workshop begins with a participant’s own work task. Rather than covering as many tools as possible, the goal is to build one usable solution, test it in real work and return to the experience in a follow-up session.

What remains in use after an AI workshop?

Each participant keeps the workflow, instruction or resource built in the workshop, along with relevant templates. The solution is tested before the follow-up session, where it is refined from experience.

Where should an organisation begin?

If an approved AI tool is already in use but staff skills vary, begin with Putting AI into practice. A profession-specific AI workshop is suitable when participants have similar tasks and want to build a usable workflow, instruction or resource.

Can I order an AI workshop for my own group?

Yes. AI workshops for creative professionals and teachers can be delivered for a group assembled by an organisation, association, project or other partner.

What tools do participants need?

We primarily use AI tools approved by the organisation. If none is available, we agree on a suitable tool in advance. A free version is enough for practice in open clinics; paid licences are not included.

How is data security handled?

Exercises do not use personal data, trade secrets or other sensitive material in publicly available AI services. The organisation’s guidance, permitted tools and material boundaries are agreed in advance.

Can workshops be delivered online or in person?

Yes. Online and in-person delivery are agreed for each group. Possible travel and accommodation costs are added to the quote separately.

Why do open workshops and group bookings have different prices?

In an open workshop, each person purchases their own place. In a group booking, an organisation or partner purchases delivery, preparation and the follow-up session for the whole group. Any variation in format, participant count, scope or travel costs is confirmed in a written quote before booking.

Which languages are available?

Workshops and materials are available in Finnish or English. The delivery language is agreed during preparation.

Wondering which workshop suits you or your group? Let’s find a good way to start.

Tell me whether you are asking for yourself, a group or an organisation. Describe the work situation and what you would like participants to be able to do afterwards. I will reply with a delivery proposal within two business days.
